PostHeaderIcon How Far is Heathrow Airport from Tufnell Park Tube station, North London?

How far is the distance and how long does it take by taxi?

Cheers

Heathrow is on the other side of the city from Tufnell Park. It can take up to an hour by taxi, maybe longer, depending on how heavy the traffic is.

You can take the Underground to Heathrow. Take the Northern Line from Tufnell Park tube station and then transfer to the Piccadilly Line at Leicester Square (via Charing Cross) or Kings Cross/St. Pancras (via Bank). The Piccadilly Line will take you direct to Heathrow.

thinking of the quickest and easiest way to travel.

The Piccadilly line goes direct from both these stations all the way to Heathrow. It takes about an hour and a half. That is the easiest route for you to take.

PostHeaderIcon Which station is the easiest to change on Piccadilly Line when travelling from Heathrow to Victoria?

I will travel from Heathrow station to Victoria station on Sunday evening.

I want to avoid stairs or walking as much as possible because of suite cases and other luggages and because my mother has hip replacement.

Also, I find some station like Earl’s Court is quite confusing to change as District Line has many different destinations and signs are not so clear.

Could anyone tell me which station is the easiest to change please?

District Line: Hammersmith, Barons Court, Earl’s Court, Gloucester Rd, South Kensington
Victoria Line: Green Park.

Thank you for your time and help!!

Hammersmith or Baron’s Court - the transfer from Piccadilly to District lines is across the platform on both stations.
