How easy is it to pick someone up from terminal 5 at heathrow airport?
I want to pick a friend up from the airport at T5, is there parking? and is it signposted? I want to meet them at the arrivals gates.
Heathrow is worse then Boston during the construction, or New york anytime.
At most airports its easier for a person coming in to get around the airport then a driver getting around. And with most airports there is one terminal that is the easiest. There are trains, or buses that take people from terminal to terminal, or parking lots. The best way is to park, and go to the baggage claim and meet your friend. Since 9/11, no one can go to the gate anymore unless they have a ticket. It may take a good hour but it is the easiest way.

Is there anywhere near Liverpool Airport I could park free or cheap for 5 days?
To avoid the high charge for dropping people off at departures, the wise ones drop people off at arrivals. That should give you a clue about the parking arrangements at Liverpool airport.
Best go by bus or train, to right outside the airport doors , and have no worries.
Gatwick Airport parking / drop-off ?
I have to drop some people off at Gatwick Airport (South Terminal) at the weekend but do I have to park in the short stay car park or is there a drop-off place where I can just unload them & then leave.
Yeah there are drop off points outside both the North and South Terminal. Just follow the signs and you’ll get there.

Whats the closest parking available to the terminal building at Heathrow Terminal 5?
Hi, I absolutely hate with a passion those shuttle bus things when you are leaving your car at the airport and am flying from terminal 5 monday return sunday - is there on airport parking like an ncp or something opposite the terminal building like gatwick at Terminal 5. or do you have to do the dreaded park and ride 
I can confirm purple parking are the people to use.They will meet you at your departure terminal and take good care of your car.I have used them on a number of occasions,and they are cheaper than using one of the airport parks…you can contact them on 0208 813 8130.
