What is the Croxteth Park Estate in Liverpool like?
It is not actually in Croxteth, it is in West Derby (L12) but it is called the Croxteth Park Estate because it is by Croxteth Park.
P.s The area I am talking about is right near the top of the estate, but the property has private gates and that. Will it still be bad there.
Its a large private housing estate with nice homes with some great parkland nearby.
However it has never overcome the basic flaw which it was built with, there is one road in, one road out and there are no amenities apart from some small shops and a pub (now closed).
Apart from the houses and the walks nearby, there is nothing else there.
Rhys Jones was murdered there but that was a feud brought in from outside the estate, the gangs of Croxteth and Norris Green have been watched very closely by the police and many are now in prison. Its not shangrila, but not as bad as it was.
Which city is greener Manchester or Liverpool?
This may sound as a weird question but i really need to know which city Manchester or Liverpool has more parks, gardens or other green spaces…
And also in which city they are generally larger?
Liverpool has the largest percentage of parkland of any city in the country.
Liverpool has:
10 City Parks
14 District Parks
46 Neighbourhood Parks
45 Playgrounds
4 Local Nature Reserves
14 of our Parks meet the Green Flag quality standard
