How do you pay for short stay parking at Heathrow.?
Hi, i,m meeting a flight in the morning at 06.30. How much is it to park short stay for say 2-3 hours and how do you pay?? Is it card or cash? Thanks Andy. Lincolnshire.
You take a ticket as you enter the car park. Park up and go meet your passenger. On the way back into the car park are machines to pay cash/notes and issue you with an exit ticket. Up to half an hour is £2.30, up to an hour is £4. But if you’re going to Terminal 1, 2, or 3 you could hang outside on the A4 Bath road for free at Macdonalds and then go into the airport at the time the flight lands, you’ll end up paying the minimum £2.30.

yes but more usual other way round so you will have to make sure you tick the right boxes around nights stay. i have done this without an issue - i did over the phone instead of internet cos internet did not support that choice then - however that was 3 years ago so may be different now

Long term parking at Heathrow?
My fiance and I are going to the states for 2 weeks in April/May and wondered what the cheapest way of parking our car in or around London is? We don’t mind catching a tube or 2, but the £160 it looks like costing us at Heathrow seems a bit excessive. Anyone have any better suggestions?
A lot of airport hotels will do a deal. We stayed in the Raddison Edwardian on Christmas night for an early flight on Boxing Day. We were away for 3 weeks, they charged £130 for the room, parking, the lot.
A word of advice, other than the reception area the Radisson is awful, no way the 5 star it thinks it is, try the Marriott next door.
short term parking at heathrow?
Ive got to drop someone off at terminal 4 heathrow does anyone know the parking situation e.g how long can i park outside before getting ticketed ,and ive got the same problem picking them up .
You cannot park outside at all. There is security there all the time and they will come and tell you to move. You are allowed to drop someone off and unload the luggage just outside the terminal entrance, but you cannot stay for a longer period of time.
When waiting to pick them up, there is a short-stay car park that you could use. It will cost you a couple of pounds, but that would be my best tip. Just have your friends/party meet you there or have them call you when they’re outside the exit and you can drive up and pick them up then.
