I’m looking for a hotel thats near Liverpool University and a big car park?
I’m going to an open day at liverpool university and I need to book into a hotel for the night before, I need somewhere which is kindly situated near both the university campus and a big car park. anyone have any ideas?
Try the Liner hotel - just at the back of Lime Street Station - has quite a big open air car park that you can use for about a fiver a day - within 10 minutes walking distance of the University Campus.

A lot of the city centre hotels have car parking too - like the Ibis, Campanile, Formula 1 (I’m presuming that as a student you’re wanting somewhere relatively cheap) as well as the hilton.
Buses up to the campus from the city centre are very frequent if you dont want a 20 minute uphil walk.
Why does everyone say Man United have lots of match winning players a Liverpool dont?
Besides players like rooney gerrard torres.
United have players like carrick anderson park fletcher brown neville scholes. who are not match winning players, then Liverpool, theres the likes of reira benayoun kuyt mascherano babel auerelio and now johnson. i think liverpool have many more match winning players and a lot stronger squad.
anyone agree
personally i haven’t heard anyone saying that, all i have heard is that Man Utd have more depth to their squad and that is a completely objective opinion as it all depends on how you rate the players in each team, so we could sit here all night arguing that one!
if you’re going to make a comparison please feel free to make a fair one, apart from Carrick (and maybe Fletcher) the players you have chosen from Man Utd are all fringe players
games played;
Carrick - 28
Anderson - 17
Park - 25
Fletcher - 26
Brown - 8
Neville - 16
Scholes - 21
not one of those players started more than 25 games, you’ve chosen 2 defenders who started less than 20 games between them in Brown and Neville.
Also of the players you have chosen for Liverpool you have 4 attacking players and 2 attacking full-backs and one defensive player in Mascherano again hardly a fair comparison when compared to the players you have chosen from Man Utd! It seems to me you have purposely chosen players from Man Utd that back up your point, why didn’t you pick the likes of Giggs, Valencia, Owen, Rafael (played more than Brown and the same as Neville), Evra, Vidic (how many games did he win for us last season) and even Nani!
What is the least expensive way to get from Heathrow to the Belsize Park tube station and how would I go?
There will be 2 adults with luggage (one bag and one carry on each) arriving at noon on a Saturday. Thanks so much for your help!
The cheapest way would be to take the tube (London Underground). You can get this direct from the airport terminal and travel on the Piccadilly line to Leicester Square, then change to the Northern line to Belsize Park. The journey would probably take up to a couple of hours allowing for changes.
The cost (maximum £4.00 per person) is a lot less than other options such as Heathrow Express or taxi, but you’d have to carry your luggage around, possibly up some stairs or escalators, and on a Saturday the tube is likely to be pretty crowded.
But it’s definitely the cheapest way and I’ve taken luggage on the tube in this way before, I’d rather save the money to enjoy myself at my destination!
Can Anyone recommend a good pick up parking company for Heathrow?
In the past I have been able to just get out at the terminal give the keys to the parking attendant and then he drives off and parks my car - vice versa on my return. The lack of hassle is great. However I cant remember who we used last time….any recommendations guys?
there’s a really good guide to a lot of airport parking operators at http://www.travelsupermarket.com/airport-parking/
