PostHeaderIcon Where can I find private parking in Liverpool city centre?

There must be places that sell private parking places.

The new multi story at Princess dock (to the left of the Pier Head looking from the river) offers contract parking otherwise there is plenty of contract parking around Pall Mall/ Leeds Street.

If you are looking for your own space, I don’t know of one, but maybe one of the old garages might do this. They all seem to be getting knocked down now with the re development of the city centre.

Re: Cheap/Free Parking in Liverpool City Centre

I park in the casino car park on renshaw street when i go shopping. Its free to join and the car park’s free.
I’ve been told if you go down Wood Street and do a right down one of the little side roads, there are no yellow lines and it’s totally free parking. I haven’t tried it myself, but apparently it’s at the back of the Argos on Bold Street.

Hope this helps.

PostHeaderIcon how far is sefton park from liverpool city centre?

how much would the taxi cost to get there?

Do you mean the Park or the area. Sefton Park is the largest park in South Liverpool and two to three miles from Central or Lime Street Station.
One side is best approached from Aigburth and the other from Ullet Road. I suspect that you are moving into student accommodation there. If you are, be careful as a student you are an easy target. When my wife worked in a bank she often had a youngster in saying they had this wonderful accommodation just by the Park. Next thing they had been broken into. Liverpool is no worse than any other large city but beware as a student in unfamiliar surroundings you are vulnerable for the first term anyway to the efforts of the local shits.
On the positive side you will find that most people have time for you and are friendly, helpful.and will laugh with you not at you. Most students look back on their time here with affection.
£5 or £6 at the most at a guess because I do not generally use a taxi

Its the space inbetween burger king and bold street. There’s always pedal bikes, mopeds and motorbikes parked up but no sign saying how much it is. Also how much is it to park a scooter in L1 ? Thanks

PostHeaderIcon Unitarian Church, Sefton Park, Liverpool 17.?

Does anyone know which bus or train I can get to the Unitarian Church in Ullet Road in Sefton Park, Liverpool 17, from Liverpool city centre?

The 80 or 80A to Speke go down Ullet road, as the driver to tell you where to get off.
It’s a little way down Ullet road so you should see the road sign.

It will only take 5 minutes or so from town.

Have a look on google map, search for 57 Ullet road and you’ll see it.

Here’s a link to the Merseytravel site.
If you click on 80 or 80A you’ll get a PDF with the route map.
