Is 500gbp enough money for 4 nights in London?
I already paid for the hotel (located near Hyde Park) and airline tickets so I’ll have 500 gbp to spend. I’ll be arriving at Stansted airport, I’ve heard I need to take a train called Stansted express and then underground.
I highly recommend you to save those £500 on fine ‘afternoon tea’ in a posh hotel, which cost £90 max in Ritz Hotel, London for example.
And go visit some really nice clubs on Saturday night from 11pm till 3am. (ID required to prove your age).
The rest of the breakfast, lunch and dinner, you better keep them to sandwich (subway is the best, with enough balanced meat and veg to keep you going). I find that cuisines around London have a big range of quality. Most likely you are going into some random restaurants and regret it later.
Book tickets online, cost you much cheaper if you have a destination in mind a week before.
What is the best way to go to "Shaftesbury Metropolis London Hyde Park" Hotel from Gatwick airport?
i want to go to "Shaftesbury Metropolis London Hyde Park hotel" in london from Gatwick airport. so what is the best transportation mean to use? and can i benefit from the Oyster card that i am going to buy it from the airport to use it inside london?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Quite simply:
(1) Gatwick Airport>London Victoria (Southern trains [not the more expensive 'Gatwick Express']) (31-38 mins)
(2) Victoria>Paddington (Circle Line) (16 mins)
(3) 7 minute walk from Paddington station to Shaftesbury Metropolitan London Hyde Park hotel, via London Street and Sussex Gardens

If you can obtain an Oyster card and load it with pre-pay credit, then definitely use that to travel on the Underground from Victoria to Paddington and for all other journeys within Greater London
I need the easiest and cheapest way from Heathrow airport to a hotel by hyde park.?
We are staying at comfoprt inn at Prince square. We have never been to London and have no idea what to expext as far as transportation..
Take the Paddington Express to Paddington, change to the Circle Line tube and get off at Bayswater station and if your luggage is on wheels, then you can walk the rest of the way, north (right) on Queensway to the first corner, left into Moscow Road, right at the end (Hereford Road), and the hotel is just on the right the second street along. Or you can get a cab from Paddington Station.
There’s an alternative walking route past Whiteley’s suggested here, but it’s heavily foot trafficked and you will suffer for it. Also, what they say about the cab fare being £30 from Heathrow is baloney. More like £50-60. The Paddington Express train will cost you £15 per person. A cheaper alternative is Heathrow Connect, which takes a little bit longer because it makes stops along the way, but only costs £6.90 per person.
The other people here are wrong - they do not know where your hotel is - taking the Piccadilly Line is going to put you on the wrong side of Hyde Park, it’s going to take you an hour to get to Hyde Park Corner with all the stops and then you’re going to have to get a taxi across the park which is impossible to hail one down at Hyde Park Corner because they can’t pull over. The Paddington Express is 15 minutes, the tube train to Bayswater is 3 minutes and the walk from Bayswater is 10-15 minutes (cab from Bayswater maybe 5 minutes, tops).
