Concorde gates and parking stands?
Can anyone please tell me which terminals, gates and parking stands were regularly used by Concorde at its principal airports, i.e. Heathrow, Charles de Gaulle, Kennedy International etc?
The reason I am asking is that I use MS Flight Simulator with a Concorde add-on and detailed sceneries for many airports. Being somewhat of a perfectionist, I want to make my simming as accurate as possible.
Any help would be appreciated. Remember there’s 10 points in it for somebody.
When I used to visit JFK in NYC, British Airways shared the same terminal as United Airlines which was Terminal 7. Now they are part of the One World Alliance so British Airways may have moved to Terminal 8 or 9 where the new American Airlines terminal is. But I wouldn’t be surprised if BA is still operating out of Terminal 7 since it is right next to American.
How far is it from Heathrow to Thorpe Park?
Is there a regular bus service from Heathrow to Thorpe Park?

Airport Parking – The Hotel Alternative
If you are someone who usually parks their car at the hotel car parking, you should know that there is a better alternative available to you. The alternative is parking in the airport parking instead of parking far away.
You can pre-book the parking by going online and confirming and paying for it via the internet. All you need to do is print out your parking ticket when you come to the airport. If you are able to find a cheaper airport parking, you will either get a refund or the price will be matched. You can even book your parking spot on the day of travel.
You can even find parking spots in parking lots near the airport, and they are cheaper than the ones at the airport and are just as convenient. Sometimes these can be up to fifty percent cheaper. There is no need to worry that you will have to get yourself from the terminal to the parking lot, since there is also the option of getting a transfer bus from the terminal to the parking facility.
In the UK, the best parking areas are at the big airports like Heathrow and Gatwick. All of these offer many services, including security. Most of these airports have secured parking areas which have a round the clock security team as well as fences to protect the cars from theft. They also have cameras monitoring the entire area.
Another great thing about Airport parking is that everything is organized through technology. Instead of having to rely on manual counting to figure out how many spaces are available and when new ones will be opening up, the computer will now calculate all this in a blink of an eye, and thus always make sure the parking lot is utilized in the best possible way.
An additional advantage that most UK airports offer is valet services for your parking. You can have your car parked when you arrive by an airport valet, and when you come back that car will be brought to you at the gate. This give you two advantages, one-it reduces the hassle you have to go through to find parking, secondly-it enables the airport valets to best optimize the space in the car park and safely return you your car.
Airport parking is also convenient as you have the luxury of having your bags dropped off and picked up from the terminal gates instead of having to lug them through various transfer buses to any other parking lot. This is especially useful if you have kids or older people with you who cannot walk that much.
Airport parking is thus a better alternative when it comes to parking your car while you are out of the country or city. It offers many benefits over hotel parking such as valet parking, security, convenience, and ease of use, and not to mention the ability to book the parking spot online prior to your arrival. Therefore, if you are someone who usually parks in the hotel but is looking for an alternative, then the airport is one great option for you.
