Quite simply:
(1) Gatwick Airport>London Victoria (Southern trains [not the more expensive 'Gatwick Express']) (31-38 mins)
(2) Victoria>Paddington (Circle Line) (16 mins)
(3) 7 minute walk from Paddington station to Shaftesbury Metropolitan London Hyde Park hotel, via London Street and Sussex Gardens

If you can obtain an Oyster card and load it with pre-pay credit, then definitely use that to travel on the Underground from Victoria to Paddington and for all other journeys within Greater London
how do i arrive from Stansted airport to the hostel Holland Park?
What transports do i have to take?
Thank you so much!
Train from Stansted Airport to London, Liverpool Street, then eastbound Circle Line to High Street Kensington (you could go westbound but that would require a change of trains), then:- Turn left out of High Street Kensington Station, head down High Street to Holland Park entrance. YHA London Holland Park is at the top of the walkway inside the park. If arriving after park gate is closed (4pm in winter, 8pm in summer), please turn right off High Street Kensington into Phillmore Gardens then left into Duchess of Bedfordshire where signs point you to side entrance. Ring bell..
I need the easiest and cheapest way from Heathrow airport to a hotel by hyde park.?
We are staying at comfoprt inn at Prince square. We have never been to London and have no idea what to expext as far as transportation..
Take the Paddington Express to Paddington, change to the Circle Line tube and get off at Bayswater station and if your luggage is on wheels, then you can walk the rest of the way, north (right) on Queensway to the first corner, left into Moscow Road, right at the end (Hereford Road), and the hotel is just on the right the second street along. Or you can get a cab from Paddington Station.
There’s an alternative walking route past Whiteley’s suggested here, but it’s heavily foot trafficked and you will suffer for it. Also, what they say about the cab fare being £30 from Heathrow is baloney. More like £50-60. The Paddington Express train will cost you £15 per person. A cheaper alternative is Heathrow Connect, which takes a little bit longer because it makes stops along the way, but only costs £6.90 per person.
The other people here are wrong - they do not know where your hotel is - taking the Piccadilly Line is going to put you on the wrong side of Hyde Park, it’s going to take you an hour to get to Hyde Park Corner with all the stops and then you’re going to have to get a taxi across the park which is impossible to hail one down at Hyde Park Corner because they can’t pull over. The Paddington Express is 15 minutes, the tube train to Bayswater is 3 minutes and the walk from Bayswater is 10-15 minutes (cab from Bayswater maybe 5 minutes, tops).
How can I get from London Gatwick Airport to Maida Vale?
I am flying to London with friends next week. We are flying into Gatwick Airport, but staying in Maida Vale. What is the best way (cheapest and easiest) to get from there to Maida Vale (specifically Kilburn Park Underground Station). THANK YOU!!!
get on the train at gatwick airport train station to London Victoria station (one of London’s main stations) and from there get on the circle line on the underground and go westbound to paddingon station and at paddington change lines and go northwest bound on the bakerloo line to maida vale station.
hope this helps
and for kilburn park do exactly the same thing the only difference is that kilburn park station is one stop after maida vale station the bakerloo line.
from paddington the stations in order going northwest bound are
paddington
Warwick avenue
maida vale
kilburn park.
How much will monthly ticket from Worcester Park to London Liverpool Street cost?
You can take a SouthWest train from Worcester park to London Waterloo, then take the Waterloo&City line to Bank station, the Jubilee line to Bond Street, or the Bakerloo line to Oxford Street, all changing to the Central line to get to Liverpool Street. You can also take the Northern line to Embankment and change to the Circle line.
The cost of this monthly ticket is £133
