PostHeaderIcon How hard is it to find the longstay car park for terminal 5 at heathrow airport?

Going to new york in sep and was thinking of driving myself there rather than getting a cab, never having driven up there myself is it easy to find the longstay car park for terminal 5 when you get there? many thanks.Chris

It is easy to get to and is close to some of the other long stays car parks on the (western) perimeter road. There’s a map on the heathrow airport website.

The airport’s own longstay car parks are the most expensive around.

I’d personally consider the off site alternatives such as Purple parking

I would use the off-airport car parks which are significantly cheaper and they will bus you to the airport. Leave extra time for it but its worthwhile. I don’t know Heathrow very well but at Luton airport they are excellent.
