Its really simpler taking the train to Gatwick Airport. The railway station is inside the airport and you won’t get caught in terrible traffic jams that cause you to miss your plane www.nationalrail.co.uk

Hi Joanne. When I go to Gatwick, I don’t park on site, but I stay at a hotel overnight and book 8/15 days parking, usually I choose the Holiday Inn because I know my car will be where I have parked it and not be moved. Usually I book the hotel through http://www.laterooms.com and for 8 days around £79 including parking (room only) and around £99 for 15 days).
A company I used a few years ago I think they were called APH, they offer onsite parking at their sites and will shuttle you/family/luggage to/from airport.
Hope that helps and have a great holiday.
Jane
