PostHeaderIcon Liverpool fans, were you taken for a ride by your American co-owners with regard to your new stadium?

Latest reports say Liverpool is set to lose £34mil if the Americans fails to show the money (to the tune of £350mil) to build Stanley Park by September.

So, is "enabling works" really mean another corporate America BS?

I’m a Taiwanese Manchester United supporter, but even I speak better English than you.

    Does anyone understand you?

YES! Hicks and Gillett basically skrewd us over. They were just in it for the money. We might have been better off with DIC, but when the money is from Dubai everyones got something to say about it.

I was hoping they would be like Roman, and just buy whoever Rafa wanted, but let’s face it, they don’t have Roman money. What American would in this economy, besides Bill Gates, and a few others.

H&G don’t LOVE football. You have to love the game and not treat it as a business. Roman loves the game, he wants to win. We need that at the ‘POOL.

Randy Lerner and that other bloke up at Newcastle got it right. I think they will be around for a while.
