PostHeaderIcon What is the best way to get from Gatwick Airport to Hyde Park by public transport? Please help!! :)?

depends which part of Hyde Park … if it’s along the north side of the park (for instance Queensway, Lancaster Gate) then the other answers are good

if it’s along the southern side of the park (for instance Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge) then you would be better using the underground direct from Heathrow … see the underground map at

Gatwick Express to Victoria (or a Southern Train - it stops at intermediate stations, but it’s cheaper). Then there are 11 bus routes that go to or past Hyde Park - or walk if you are fit or take a taxi if you’ve got a lot of luggage.

as one other person said it depends on where in Hyde Park you mean. But most ways you are covered by using the train into victoria from Gatwick South and then switching to tube and picking your best stop. Of course a bus is cheaper but why not but an oystercard at Victoria and get cheap fares for your whole stay and the chnace of 2 for 1 deals at attractions (when bought from a network rail outlet)

Gatwick Express train to Victoria (journey time 30 minutes) or Southern Train (cheaper - journey time 33-38 minutes) to Victoria. They are both frequent. Then a taxi from the rank in front of Victoria Station
